Talking Rangers Rock!!!

hi there, i just wanted to tell you guys that rangers ROCK""

i mean, they are a fantastic proffesion of themselves,
rangers could go on without a secoundary prof,

i have a lvl 20 ranger, i have changed his second prof 3 times,
and im going to do it again!
i have tried ranger/warrior-useless ranger/mesma-pathetic and ranger/ele- a litle good with the AoE spells, but the rest USE LESS

i have a build of

marksman 13
WS 13
and espertise 13

you guys i rock in PvE PvP and UW/FoW, no need for a secoundary prof, cauz i got everything good with my build. marksman is good and dose high dmg, so dose traps, and healing is perfect with 13 WS.

any body else think that rangers totaly rock??

PS: i might try r/n for som nice bloodmagic- eheh

Its not that the rangers can function without using their secondary, its that rangers CAN only be efficient if they put all their points into expertise, marksmanship, wilderness survival, or beast mastery. Two attributes that you must have are expertise and marksmanship. Then others feel like the WS attribute is too hard to pass up, and since people don't want to spread their points too thin, they hardly have enough points to use their secondary to its full potential.

At low levels I found 'Physical Resistance' and a few other Mesmer skills to be useful for my R/Me , but after hitting 20 and getting my hands on elite ranger skills, I completely ignore my secondary. "Secondary? We don't need no steenking secondaries..."

11+3 Expert
10+2 Marks
9+1 Wild
4 BM

and a sup vigor rune is staple for most bow damage rangers.

Then bring Tigers Fury, a wilderness prep, a few arrow shots, and wallah.

Usually if rangers use their secondary, it will be for a general skill not linked to an attribute. Echo, Grenths Balance, Ressurect, that sort of stuff.

A 2 person, no ranger, UW group? Or possibly even one person?

I just went R/Mo for a bit of temporary farming, I might go R/E soon to check the benefits.

6 Healing Prayers
11 Smiting Prayers
7 Expertise
5+3 Wilderness Survival
7+1 Marksmenship

Seems a tad useless but like I said, it's temporary

No expertise?! Kind of a waste of an excellent set of skills, let alone the energy benefit...

in my guild, i promote people to officers, just to make me able to degrade em again, in case they say that rangers suck.

a R/E can be good in PVE and PVP if you use it correctly, yesterday I took the premade R/E (with enchant fire) and won 10 in a row with a PuG, not really saying I won those matches, im just saying seeing a ranger pindown you, then hit you for like (10, 15, 20, 13, 8, 5, Kindle arrows + greater conflag + enchant fire ftw!!!!) would pretty much freak you out..Seeing that you'll be hit that much /or more/ every few seconds when dual shot recharges, it isn't pretty

Rangers are awesome Nothing beats conjure flame+ barrage...... Nothing beats traps either...Rangers have the best of both worlds...we can trap ya or shoot ya...Now tell me whats better then that Now, me I would never want to meet a Ranger in a dark alley....
